Bharatpur Birds Sanctuary. About 350 kinds of birds have been sighted in the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park), of which about 150 kinds wing their way to the sanctuary from as far away as China and Siberia and arrive in October - March. The sanctuary covers 30 square Kms of low-lying marsh-land and is connected by paths sand canals running through the park which make for pleasant walks, richshaw or canoe rides. Some animals like the nilgai (blue-bull), sambhar, chital and monitor lizard have found their haven in the park.

In the morning pick from your place of stay & proceed to Bharatpur. It is best known as the home of Keoladeo National Park, an outstanding bird refuge that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the winter it's a stopover point for migrating birds and hundreds of species have been spotted. Upon arrival check into Hotel and enjoy the inhouse facilities.
