In time board the flight to Khajuraho. Reach Khajuraho and there you will be met & assisted by our representative at the airport. Later drive directly to Panna National Park. Like Bandhavgarh, Panna too was hunting reserve of erstwhile rulers. This protected area was brought under Project Tiger in 1994. The animal life here comprises of tigers, leopards, chowsingha, sloth bear, nilgai, chinkara, hyena, chital, over 200 species of birds, gharial and mugger in the Ken River, and vultures and other raptors as well. Early in the morning proceed for 3 Hrs shared jeep safari into the tiger reserve to observe the wildlife. Later transfer to the resort for breakfast and wash & change. Day is free at leisure. Later check out from hotel and drive to Khajuraho enroute visiting Raneh Falls : an exquisite waterfall formed by River Ken running over one of the oldest rocks on earth, the Vindhya basalt. The River forms a 5 km long, and 30m deep canyon made of pure crystalline granite in varying shades of colours ranging from pink and red to grey. It is popularly called 'The Grand Canyon of India' by the tourists, who have paid a visit to this cascade. There is a series of waterfalls in the canyon. Apart from a few large and small falls which are formed at the assemblage, some of the seasonal falls also appear during monsoons. The Western Group of temples, in particular, contains some stunning sculptures that together make up some of the finest temple art in the world. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax.
